Primrose roots

Liquefy the mucus

The roots of the primrose are often used in medicine for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, for dry cough and chronic bronchitis, as they contain special agents, called saponins. These substances liquefy the mucus in the bronchia and thus support expectoration.
