Thicker hair
Verifiably thicker hair with silica gel
University study shows: 13 percent increase in hair thickness in six months
Nearly 11 million women are distressed by having thin, fine, limp hair. Countless expensive hair products promise stronger hair and greater volume. Healthy and strong hair, however, needs the right building material from within: silica gel. The effectiveness of this pure mineral gel has now been verified in a scientific study at the University Hospital of Hamburg-Eppendorf: The hair thickness of 55 women with thin hair growth was increased at an average of nearly 13 percent by taking silica gel!
Verifiably thicker hair, a much healthier appearance, visibly more volume – these are the results of the scientific hair study with silica gel. Even the scientists at the University Hospital of Hamburg-Eppendorf described the increase in hair volume by 13 percent as a "highly significant improvement".
And they are raising the hopes of many women with fine hair even further: "It can be assumed that the prolonged intake of silica gel will lead to a further strengthening of the hair," according to the final report of the study. And: "Overall, the data show a clear increase in the volume of hair while silica gel was taken, which suggests a prevention of brittle hair" (Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Augustin).
In the investigating doctor’s evaluation report, the hair of the test persons had increased by as much as 50 percent in volume after six months! The women themselves who tested the very finely dispersed ("colloidal") silica gel were enthusiastic about their thicker and shinier hair. A quarter of the participants had already tried several therapies to get thicker hair, which for 93 percent showed no success at all!
With increasing hair thickness, the self-confidence of the women also increased, because hair is an indicator of well-being and self-esteem. The unhappiness of the women decreased by 50 percent with increasing hair thickness. The silica gel showed to be very well tolerated, without any side effects. Study manager Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Augustin summarises the results of the study as follows: "The compound (*) can be used without restriction effectively treat thin hair, taking into account the risks and benefits".
